9. Butternut Squash Puree
Butternut squash offers a good supply of vitamin A, potassium, and fiber. Its sweet taste is usually an instant hit with babies.
Method:
Cut washed butternut squash in half lengthwise, and remove the seeds. Then roast the squash at 400_ on a baking sheet brushed with olive oil for 30 minutes or until soft. Let cool and then puree in a food processor until smooth. Add water as needed to reach the desired consistency.
