Although not many fast food restaurants offer macaroni on their menus, KFC's mac and cheese is still very disappointing. The texture of the pasta feels like it's been overcooked because it's way, way too soft. It almost makes you wonder how long it's been sitting there soaking up the cheese sauce. Then, of course, you have to consider the cheese sauce as well. It's really thin, too thin to offer you that strong cheese flavor. In fact, it seems more like a white sauce with a slightly cheese flavor than real cheese.
